When the Their feelings is the right spread

The Feelings reading answers exactly one question: what is going on inside another person with regard to you. It suits the case where there are no words, or where you don't believe the words: he goes quiet, he stalls, he behaves inconsistently.

It doesn't show the future of the couple and doesn't answer "will we be together" — only the current state. And it is useless when you already know the answer and are looking for the cards' permission to disbelieve your own eyes.

How to read the positions

The three positions are deliberately separated, because in real people they often disagree — and the disagreement is the main finding.

What they feel is emotion, frequently unacknowledged. Cups here mean a live feeling; Swords mean the feeling exists but the person is analysing it instead of living it.

What they think is the rational layer: how he explains the story to himself. A mismatch with the first position is ordinary — feeling in Cups and thinking in Swords happen at the same time.

What they want is intention, and intention is what actually drives behaviour. If the first two positions are warm and the third is the Eight of Cups or the Four of Pentacles, read it as: the feeling is there and the action will not be.

How to word your question

Name the person to yourself and ask as plainly as possible: "what does Andrew feel for me right now". No "is it true that", no "surely he". The word "now" is not optional — without it the reading blends the current state with the past.

A common mistake

The main mistake is running this spread weekly on the same person. Feelings don't move that fast. Your anxiety does, and that is what you will start reading in the cards.

A worked example

Feels — Two of Cups. Thinks — Seven of Swords. Wants — Eight of Cups. A hard but clear combination: the feeling is mutual, in his head something is being hidden or double-played, and what he wants is to leave. That is the case where "he loves me" and "he will stay" are two different answers, and the second one matters more.
