How we compared them
We walked the ordinary user's path through each service: started the bot or opened the site, asked a question, reached the payment screen and recorded the prices. Bot audiences are taken from their public statistics; for one service the figure is an estimate, and that's marked separately.
Tarotari is our own service, so we don't put it first and we list its weaknesses alongside everyone else's. Prices change: if you're reading this well after July 2026, check the current rates on the service's own site.

The most thoroughly built of the Russian-language bots: seven readers with different characters, plus the option to create your own, and control over the layout, deck and number of cards through a /flow command. Payment without storing a card or auto-renewal — set out as a separate clause in their terms. After a reading it offers three generated follow-up questions.
The catalogue is narrower: horoscopes, dreams and runes live in a separate bot, so you switch between them. No mini app and no way to save a reading as a file.

Tarot only: no astrology, no dreams, no numerology. No extended conversation with follow-up questions about a reading you've already had.

The highest price per reading among the Russian-language bots. A faster response is sold separately — meaning some users are waiting longer on purpose.

We're younger than our competitors and our audience is still noticeably smaller. There's no choice of deck and no cast of different readers — Mira reads for everyone. Voice input and saving a reading to a file aren't built yet.
What to weigh up when choosing
The price of one reading, not the size of the pack. A large pack is almost always cheaper per reading, but only makes sense if you read regularly. Across the market the range is roughly 15 to 119 ₽ per reading.
Whether you can talk back. A single block of text with no way to ask again often leaves more questions than answers. Being able to follow up changes the value more than the number of cards does.
Recurring charges. Some services run on auto-renewing subscriptions, others deliberately avoid them. For a one-off curiosity, a subscription almost never pays off.
How wide the catalogue is. If you also care about horoscopes, dreams or numerology, check whether they're in the same service or you'll need a second one.

Which tarot service should a beginner choose?
If you want a fast answer without fiddling with settings, any service that returns a reading straight after your question will do. If you plan to read regularly, look at the price of a single reading and whether you can ask a follow-up about a reading you've already had: without that, a spread often stays misunderstood.
How much does an online tarot reading cost?
As of July 2026, one reading in a Russian-language Telegram bot costs roughly 15 to 119 ₽ depending on the service and the size of the pack you buy. The minimum payment is usually 45–119 ₽. Web services generally sell packs of an internal currency, sometimes priced in dollars.
How are paid services different from free readings?
Free readings almost always serve up pre-written text for whichever cards came up. Paid services built on language models take your wording, the position of each card in the layout and the context of the conversation into account, so the reading is genuinely personal. Neither kind predicts events with any guarantee.
Subscription or pay-per-reading?
If you read now and then, paying per reading works out cheaper: a subscription pays for itself from around ten readings a month. Look separately at auto-renewal — some services deliberately offer payment without storing a card, because for many people that matters.
Can you trust an AI tarot reader?
A language model doesn't see the future — it organises the symbolism of the cards around your question. The value is in getting a coherent view of a situation and a reason to think about it from another angle. It's a tool for reflection, not medical, legal or financial advice.
