What the matrix shows
The Destiny Matrix is a chart of 22 positions where every number is a Major Tarotari card. It never goes above 22 — that's how many cards there are in the major deck. So the “numbers” of the matrix and the tarot card meanings are the same thing, just written as a number.
The upright square is about you personally: the day of birth carries your character, the month your talents, the year the task of this stretch of life, and the fourth corner the karmic tail — what you have to work off.
The rotated square is the family one: what came down the male and female lines. The centre is the core energy that everything else is built around.
The health map lays the same energies across seven chakras in three layers: Earth (the physical and everyday), Sky (spirit and meaning), Soul (their sum). The final row shows the overall balance.

Take 01.01.1990:
- 1. Day = 1, month = 1
- 2. Year: 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19
- 3. Karma: 1 + 1 + 19 = 21
- 4. Centre: 1 + 1 + 19 + 21 = 42, reduced: 4 + 2 = 6
The point people most often get wrong: numbers above 22 are reduced by adding their digits, not by subtracting 22. In the example above, subtracting would give 20 instead of 6 — and the whole matrix would shift. Our calculation has been checked against a reference calculator on three dates.

How do I calculate a Destiny Matrix myself?
The day, the month and the digit-sum of the year go into the corners of the upright square, and their total gives the fourth corner. Numbers above 22 are reduced by adding their digits: 42 becomes 6. The sums of adjacent corners give the family square, and the sum of all four gives the centre. The calculator on this page does exactly that and draws the result.
Is the Destiny Matrix numerology or tarot?
Both. It's calculated arithmetically, as in numerology, but the resulting numbers are read as Major Tarotari — which is exactly why no value in a matrix ever exceeds 22.
How is a matrix different from a natal chart?
A natal chart is built from planetary positions and needs your time and place of birth. A Destiny Matrix is calculated from the date alone and works with arcana rather than planets. They're different systems and neither replaces the other.
